In the first 6 months of this year, the turnover of enterprises in the industrial zones and clusters reach over VND13.7 trillion

PTO- On July 31st, the Management Board of the provincial industrial parks held a conference to review the production and business activities of the enterprises in the industrial zones (IZs) and industrial clusters (ICs) in the first 6 months and implement task for the last 6 months of the year. 

In the first 6 months of this year, the operation of enterprises in IZs and ICs has stably remained with good growth. Revenue reached over VND13,700 billion. Export value reached USD462 million. Its contribution to the state budget was VND650 billion and attracting about 2,500 employees. So far, IZs and ICs have attracted 155 investment projects including 89 domestic projects and 66 foreign projects with total implemented capital of over VND9,600 billion and USD463 million. 114 projects have been put into operation, 21 projects are under construction, 5 projects are under preparation of investment. In the first 6 months, there are 14 projects put into operation.

At the conference, leaders of the Management Board answered questions of some enterprises related to issues such as insurance compensation, environmental landscapes, construction of housing for workers, etc. In order to improve the efficiency of production and business activities of enterprises in the last 6 months of the year, the Management Board proposed some specific tasks and solutions:
Management agencies should focus on compensation and land clearance to create condition for investors to build factories; intensifying the inspection and supervision of the construction, preventing and handling violations of construction activities; guiding enterprises in properly implementing regulations, ensuring the legitimate rights and interests for laborers and enterprise owners; enhancing activities of labor support and recruitment and job introduction. Enterprises should enhance the business management and market development, striving to fulfill the registered planning targets; focusing on mobilizing resources and renovating technologies in order to raise the quality and productivity of laborers and lower the production costs; strictly obeying the laws of the State, etc.
