PTO - On May 8th, a supervision delegation of the standing board of the provincial People's Council led by Mr. Bui Minh Chau - Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the provincial People's Council, Head of the provincial NA delegation to supervise the implementation of a key construction investment project in Cam Khe district.

Currently, in Cam Khe district, there are 12 key investment projects. In which, the investment project of YIDA Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Song Thao town industrial cluster) operates in the garment sector with a total investment capital of over VND1,000 billion; creating jobs for over 1,700 employees with an average income of VND6.5 million/ person/ month. The commercial chicken breeds project of Hoa Phat poultry Co., Ltd., has a total investment of VND750 billion.

Secretary Bui Minh Chau made a conclusion at the conference.

Addressing at the conference, Secretary Chau emphasized that Cam Khe district was one of the localities with high industrial growth rate of the province and praised the achievements of businesses in the district in production development and job creation for local workers. He also gave directions on each project of both companies.

For Cam Khe industrial zone and Song Thao town industrial cluster, Secretary requested the management board of the provincial industrial zones and other departments and branches raise their sense of responsibility and active counsel to the province in selecting and attracting investors; well managing revenue sources, strictly handling violations in production and business, causing environmental pollution...

In the time to come, departments and agencies should enhance the inspection and supervision of the implementation of environmental regulations, especially not to consider industrial development projects on rice land.
