Ha Hoa district creates a breakthrough for economic development

PTO - Ha Hoa district has determined to improve the business investment environment, infrastructure development and administrative reform - the key objectives to develop economy, gradually reducing the proportion of agriculture, forestry while increasing the proportion of industry and services.

So far, Ha Hoa has reached and exceeded 22/24 targets; the average growth rate at 7.2%, higher than the Resolution; including industry and craft industries sub-sector, construction, service, tourism, trade increasing from 6.1-14%; the added value per capita reached VND 34.2 million/ year.


At present, the whole district has 95 enterprises, 326 individual households engaged in production and business activities in the field of industry and craft industries sub-sector, creating jobs for over 10 thousand laborers with an average income from VND 4.5 to 5.5 million/ person/ month. Some products with strong growth are processing of forest product, bamboo, garments, etc.

The district has improved the business investment environment, enhancing the competitiveness, supporting and developing enterprises. Some projects have been invested and conducted surveys such as rural residential areas of communes of Bang Gia and Vo Tranh; urban residential area of Ha Hoa town; Ha Hoa Lake Side; ecological resorts of Ao Gioi - Suoi Tien and Hien Luong; Ao Chau Golf Academy, etc.


In order to create a breakthrough in infrastructure, since 2015, Ha Hoa has mobilized all resources estimated at nearly VND 8,226 billion to invest in transport, irrigation, industry and craft industries sub-sector, tourism, trade. In particular, infrastructure of industry and craft industries sub-sector has gradually formed with 2 industrial zones and Dong Phi industrial cluster with the scale of 775ha in communes of Vo Tranh and Xuan Ang.

The development of transport and industry infrastructure led to the development of trade and tourism infrastructure with a total investment of nearly VND 282 billion. The district has focused on building and upgrading Great Mother Au Co Temple, Ao Chau lagoon, War Zone 10 and embellishing historical and spiritual relics. In order to exploit the strengths of tourism, the district has put into operation the IC11 highway intersection, creating favorable conditions to form tours. Every year, over 200,000 tourists visits Great Mother Au Co Temple and other tourist attractions in the district.
