Creating favorable conditions for the development of enterprises

PTO - That is the direction speech of Mr. Phan Trong Tan - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee at the conference to summarize the activities of industrial zones in 2020, deploying tasks in 2021 held by Phu Tho Industrial Zones Management Board on December 16th.

By 2020, closely following the Government's Directives and Resolutions and guiding documents of superiors, the Management Board of IZs has regularly keep contact with, accompany and support enterprises to early recovery the production .

The whole province currently has 167 enterprises operating within the provincial industrial zones; including 136 ones in stable operate. In 2020, the revenue of these enterprises has been estimated at VND43,500 billion, an increase of 9% compared to 2019; contributing VND1,000 billion to the State budgets; export turnover at USD3,700 million, up by 113% compared to 2019. The total number of employees in enterprises is 45,000, average income of VND6.8 million/person/month. 16 secondary investment projects, including 11 FDI projects with a total registered capital of over USD198 million has been attracted and granted investment registration certificates in 2020.

In 2021, some basic targets of enterprises in the industrial zone are determined: Turnover of VND50,000 billion; contributing VND 1,200 billion to the State budget; export value at VND4,000 billion; average income of employees at VND7.5 million/person/month or more.


Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Phan Trong Tan acknowledged the efforts of enterprises on overcoming difficulties to maintain production and business, contributing to the overall development of the province, well implementing the dual goal of preventing pandemic and restoring socio-economic development. He emphasized that in the term of 2020-2025, Phu Tho would focus on implementing breakthroughs to strongly improve the investment and business environment; at the same time, continuing to perform key tasks of promoting administrative reform and training human resources. The province commits to accompany enterprises, strengthen and renew investment promotion activities, focusing on selecting investors. On the basis of the province's socio-economic development planning and development orientation, enterprises must have a strategy to develop and implement investment projects to ensure economic, communal and environmental efficiency. The Management Board must strengthen activities of exchange, dialogue, reform and expand the method of receiving feedbacks from investors and enterprises in order to promptly resolve difficulties, problems to support enterprises.
