The festival is a chance for the People's Committee of Viet Tri City to honor the cultural heritage of the ancestral land; disseminating and promoting the Phu Tho Xoan Singing heritage to the mass. At the same time, it is an opportunity for students to exchange and learn about Xoan singing; raising awareness, responsibility and passion of Xoan singing to all generations, contributing to preserving and conserving the intangible cultural heritage of humanity and joining hands in building Viet Tri into “a festival city towards the roots of the Vietnamese people”.
