PTO - On October 19th, Viet Tri People's Committee held a ceremony to receive the National Intangible Cultural Heritage Certificate for Tam Giang Temple Festival in Bach Hac ward, Viet Tri city.

Tam Giang Temple is located in the National Arts and Architecture Relic including Tam Giang temple and Dai Bi pagoda, worshiping legendary historical figures in Hung Kings era. Going through many ups and downs of history, in spite of restoration many times, Tam Giang temple has still retained the traditional architecture, system of statues and artifacts belonging to traditional culture of Van Lang ancient capital.

Due to historical events, the festivals of the temple were canceled for a long time. However, since 2010, Tam Giang temple festival has been studied and restored following a traditional ritual by the authorities and people of Bach Hac ward,  attracting a lot of tourists.

In 2018, along with the project of tourism development of Viet Tri city in the period of 2018-2025, after 1 year of collecting and building documents, Tam Giang temple festival has been recognized as a national intangible cultural heritage by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
