Program of honoring the Mother Goddesses worship and Vietnamese ancent village festival kicks off

PTO – On the afternoon of November 16th, at Dao Ngoc Xanh (blue peal island) tourist area in Thanh Thuy district, Ao Vua Joint Stock Company cooperated with Department of Culture - Sports and Tourism, Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and People's Committee of Thanh Thuy district to organize the opening ceremony of the program of honoring the Mother Goddesses worship and Vietnamese ancent village festival with the themed “Origin and aspiration”.



The program has been taken place from November 15th to 17th with 4 main activities, including: Overview of the Mother Goddesses, Tam Phu, Tu Phu worship; display of typical agricultural specialty booths of Phu Tho province and Ba Vi district (Hanoi); “timbre of the origin” art performances; 7 booths and 60 dishes of the ancestral land cuisine; and some folk games. The highlight of the program is the street folk festival themed "Origin and aspiration" with the participation of over 600 artisans, artists, mass actors who has faithfully recreated the ancient customs of Vietnamese people like performing the Tro Tram - Tu Dan Chi Nghiep Festival (Lam Thao district); Dao Xa elephant procession (Thanh Thuy district), Phu Tho Xoan singing; procession of Au Co Mother Goddess's palanquin...



The program aims to introduce and promote the unique cultural potential of the province in general and Thanh Thuy district in particular, especially the Mother Goddesses. Thereby, contributing to developing the cultural tourism and bringing typical agricultural specialties of Phu Tho to domestic and foreign tourists.
