PTO - According to the original plan, the Hung Kings' death anniversary in 2020 would be held on a national scale, however, due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, the event would be held a shortened incense offering ceremony without the festival activities on the morning of lunar March 10th.

Perhaps the peaceful and quiet atmosphere at Hung King Temple historical relic site at this time is unfamiliar compared to the previous years.

The main route to the stone gate are quiet.

Covid-19 pandemic prevention signboard is located in catching-eye places. The Provincial Department of Health has built plans to ensure COVID-19 disease prevention during Hung Kings' death anniversary this year.

The silent covers the entire relic site.

Mr. Nguyen Dac Thuy - Director of Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism said: The Department has compiled a document of the meaning of the worship of Hung King and the death anniversary of Hung Kings to disseminate on mass media, as well as sent it to the Central Committee for Propaganda and Education to publish nationwide so that people those could not directly participate in Hung Kings' death anniversary to understand the value and meaning of worship of Hung Kings.

Phu Tho Newspapers has published a special 36-page publication of Hung Kings' death anniversary as a propaganda document to help people have a comprehensive and insightful view of the worship of Hung Kings. In addition, this year, this year's Vietnam Ancestral Global Day 2020 will be celebrated online in many countries with the purpose of connecting the great national solidarity and help overseas Vietnamese people better understand the origin of the Lac Hong descendants.
