Phu Tho delegation pays a working visit to UK

PTO- From 13th to 20th August Phu Tho delegation led by Mr.Bui Minh Chau - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Provincial People's Committee and head of Provincial NA paid a working visit to UK.
Within the framework of the program, the delegation visited and worked with the Vietnamese Embassy in London. Welcoming the delegation were Ambassador Tran Ngoc An and Vietnamese Embassy staff in the UK. Ambassador Tran Ngoc An briefly introduced the development of cooperative relations between Vietnam and the UK and said that in recent years, Vietnam's trade balance has always reached a surplus, focusing on a number of key items such as agricultural products, components, textiles and seafood, etc. These were also the main export products of the province, he suggested Phu Tho province to pay attention and promote access to the UK market.
On behalf of the delegation, Mr. Bui Minh Chau sincerely thanked for the support of the Embassy for Phu Tho province in recent years and introduced an overview of the provincial socio-economic development. He asked the Embassy to support Phu Tho province in building and establishing cooperative relations with the partners of the host countries to promote the process of comprehensive and extensive international integration on the fields: economy, culture, education, agriculture, sports, etc. At the same time, providing information for British investors and overseas Vietnamese in the UK about Phu Tho province.
Then, the delegation visited and worked at a number of agricultural enterprises and surveyed agricultural production farms in some cities such as Manchester, Liverpool, Edigburgh, New York.
After that, the delegation visited some traditional cultural places in the UK... These were valuable experiences for the mission to study and apply in the process of developing the local tourism field.
