Ceremonies of the death anniversary of Great Father Lac Long Quan and incense offering of Great Mother Au Co

PTO - On the morning of March 29th (i.e, lunar March 6th), representatives of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Council Committee, the Provincial People's Committee and the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee on behalf of all people solemnly held the death anniversary of the nation's Great Father Lac Long Quan and the incense offering ceremony to Great Mother Au Co at Lac Long Quan Temple on Sim mountain and Au Co Temple on Van mountain in the Hung Kings Temple historical relic site.

At Lac Long Quan temple, in the respectful and solemn atmosphere, on behalf of the people of the whole country, the provincial leaders offered incense, flowers and offerings to pay tribute and commemorate to the merits of Great Father Lac Long Quan who laid the foundations for the country.


Paying tribute to the merits of Great Fatherland and the ancestors who built the nation, the descendants would continue the tradition of solidarity to overcome all difficulties and challenges; striving for the cause of building and defending the peaceful and prosperous Vietnam.

Praying that the Great Father would continue to bless the country with peace and prosperity, a good weather, a bumper crop and a happy life for the Vietnamese people. Phu Tho and the whole country will continue to stablize the security - politics, social order and safety, successfully implement the socio-economic development targets in 2020 and in subsequent years. successfully organizing Party congresses at all levels towards 13th National Party Congress.


At Au Co temple, the delegation offered incense, flowers, offerings to express gratitude and pay tribute to the merit of Great Mother Au Co. In front of Great Mother's soul, the delegation promised to upholding the father's tradition of national construction and defence.


This year, due to impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, the ceremony was streamlined, and participants also took preventive measures as recommended by health agencies.
