However, so far, Thanh Thuy has only reached 22/27 socio-economic set targets. 5 rest targets caused by both objective and subjective reasons such as growth rate is unsustainable, agricultural production is spontaneous, handicraft production and craft villages own a small-scale ; investment environment does not improve; State management on land and mineral resources is limited; tourism development is not synchronized without initial master plan, tourism products do not create tourist attraction.

At the working session, Chairman Quang pointed out some shortcomings and limitations that the district should propose solutions to overcome. In which, the work of direction and leadership in the implementation of socio-economic development targets need to identify key tasks to build breakthroughs in tourism development based on reality. In the field of agricultural development, the district should soon build a specific model to promote the application of science and technology to production; continuing to promote administrative procedure reform, apply information technology in the operating system to facilitate enterprises and people; enhancing the leadership capacity of Party organizations, administrations at all levels and mass organizations; paying attention to training human resources and developing traditional products for tourism.
