PVN delegation offers incense to Hung Kings at Thuong Temple, Hung King Temple historical relic site.

PTO - On May 24th, the delegation of Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (Petrovietnam or PVN in short) led by Mr. Tran Sy Thanh, Deputy Head of the Central Economic Commission and Chairman of the Member Council of PVN paid a working visit at the province.

Addressing at the meeting, Chairman Tran Sy Thanh briefed on the operation situation, especially the results and important contributions of PVN to ensuring national energy security, as well as protecting national sea and island sovereignty along with armed forces units. He also focused on Group's orientation to expand cooperation to localities to promote its strengths, including tourism development. PVN has high expectations of Phu Tho and the province's good strategy to attract investment and expand cooperation.

On behalf of the provincial leaders, Secretary of the provincial People's Party Committee Bui Minh Chau congratulated the success of PVN in various fields; at the same time, he briefed Phu Tho's achievements in the period of 2015 to 2020: Being one of the top developed provinces in the Northern midland and mountainous region with a social and political stability. The province's economy has been continously developing, increasing by 1.5 times compared to 2015. The economic structure, internal structure of economic sectors have shifted in a positive direction. The socio-cultural fields have many flourishes.

Secretary Chau affirmed that Phu Tho owned a lot of potential for socio-economic development, especially tourism - a breakthrough attracting the special attention of the province  to expanding cooperation and promoting investment to big corporations. He hoped PVN would strengthen cooperation to the province on investment and development of projects of energy tourism, etc. in the coming time. At the same time, PVN would continues to maintain and support Phu Tho in social security activities. Phu Tho would commit to facilitating PVN in missions of research, survey and evaluation for investment and development of projects in the province, as well as having the suitable mechanism and policies to attract investment, deploy feasible cooperation projects.

In the framework of working visit, PVN donated VND 100 million to the worship of Hung Kings.
