Phu Tho launches the Intelligent Operations Center

The leaders of the province and VNPT Group pressed button to launch the provincial Intelligent Operations Center.

PTO - On August 30th, the Provincial People's Committee held the opening of the provincial Intelligent Operations Center (IOC) and worked with the Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT) on the implementation of cooperation contents on the time to come.


IOC is the core foundation system in the roadmap for building e-government and smart city of the province under the signed cooperation between the Provincial People's Committee and VNPT Group since February 20th, 2020. In details, VNPT Group sponsors all control and storage devices and screens of the intelligent operating display system; implementing a pilot construction of centralized data storage for 10 services; supporting a pilot connection of data from 10 services to the centralized data system of the province.

Officially deployed in March 2020, IOC is designed with 9 functional systems - the essential systems that allow monitoring, analyzing and forecasting of the province's socio-economic indicators, thereby supporting the direction and administration of leaders of agencies and organizations.


Addressing at the ceremony, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Bui Minh Chau highly appreciated the coordination between the provincial People's Committee and VNPT Group in the construction of IOC; requesting departments, branches, districts, cities and towns to effectively exploit and apply IOC in the direction, administration, socio-economic development, security and order. The Secretary emphasized that: The police sector focus on exploiting the services and utilities of IOC in violations of safety and order traffic, security and order in the province.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Bui Van Quang expected in the coming time, VNPT Group would continue to pay attention and help Phu Tho and provincial agencies to effectively use the software to update data. The province also assigned the Department of Information and Communications to receive and connect to VNPT Group in the management and use of the province's IOC.


At the meeting, representatives of Phu Tho province and VNPT Group signed a memorandum of agreement in the coming time.
