Viet Tri city promotes tourism services

Viet Tri has formed many tourist routes for foreign tourists.

PTO- Developing the service sector, especially tourism services, which Viet Tri city has identified as one of three breakthroughs to gradually develop Viet Tri to become a festival city back to the roots of Vietnamese ethnic. In order to realize this target, Viet Tri city has been concentrating on many solutions to promote service activities, contributing to meet the production demand and the quality of life of local people.
One of the greatest potentials which brings Viet Tri city to become a tourism service center is the geographical location, landscapes and especially the historical relics, traditional villages as well as the cultural heritages, festivals of the ancestral land, especially two heritages named "Hung King worship" and "Phu Tho Xoan singing". There are 111 tangible and intangible cultural heritages, 54 classified relics (14 national relics, 40 provincial relics) and two key tourist sites as Hung Kings Temple and Hung Lo village in Viet Tri city.
Over the years, Hung Kings Temple has become a special spiritual-cultural tourism destination attracting many domestic and foreign tourists. Up to now, the historical relic mainly develops spiritual tourism services and focuses on the festive season, while Hung Lo ancient village is only 10km away from the Hung Kings Temple. Through ups and downs of history, Hung Lo village has still preserved almost intact architecture of ancient communal house, which has been recognized as national historical relic since 1990. Hung Lo commune has still preserved nearly 50 ancient houses of 100 to 200 years old, and also had traditional vermicelli-making techniques. At present, Hung Lo is exploited with spiritual and experience tourism services, initially attracting a number of foreign and domestic tourists to visit, experience and stay. 
Besides the religious, cultural, historical relics and landscapes, Viet Tri city has also traditional villages such as: Food processing village in zone 9 of Hung Lo community, Chung cake and Giay cake  village in Xom hamlet, Hung Lo commune, Nha Nit peach-blossom village in Thanh Dinh commune; Tan Duc safe vegetable village in Tan Duc commune. The diversification of tourism products will attract visitors to visit Phu Tho province not only on the occasion of the Hung Kings’ Death Anniversary but also crossing throughout the year.
In spite of disconnection between tourist sites in the area and not linking between the forms of tourism, but now Viet Tri city has formed a number of tourist routes in order to exploit foreign tourists such as Hung Kings Temple – Lai Len Temple – Hung Lo communal house tourism route, Hung Kings Temple - Hung Vuong museum - Hung Lo communal house - Thet communal house - Tan Duc safe vegetable village tourism route, Tam Giang Pagoda - Hung Vuong Museum - Hung Kings Temple - Lai Len Temple – Hung Lo communal house. There are 14 enterprises operating in the field of domestic and international travel. That is also a connection point for developing tourism services of the city.
In addition to spiritual tourism products which are the traditional strengths of Viet Tri city’s tourism and experienced tourism, other potential products such as eco-tourism, sightseeing tours, discovery tours and so on are also gradually developed.
In order to turn tourism into a key economic sector which brings Viet Tri city to become an attractive destination for domestic and foreign tourists with the target of maintaining annual tourist arrivals by 20% per year, Viet Tri city will continue to preferentially focus on investing in the tourism development, improving the capacity and quality of tourism supply, investing in tourism infrastructure, improving transport of infrastructure and destinations at the relics. Besides, the city has also set up many projects to call for investment in some high-grade eco-tourism and resorts, building organic agricultural production areas in combination with eco-tourism, experience and forming picnic camps in combination with experimental education in some communes and wards, developing tourist products, building tourist tours and routes in coordination with units engaged in inter-provincial tourist, developing tourism human resources, promoting the propaganda and branding tourism ...
