The first Korean language contest - Phu Tho 2021

Leaders of Department of Foreign Affairs and Provincial Union of Friendship Organizations work with leaders of Koica - the contest sponsor

PTO- On the occasion of the 29th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Korea (1992 - 2021), the Provincial Union of Friendship Organizations in collaboration with the Department of Foreign Affairs, the Management Board of Industrial Parks in Phu Tho, Hung Vuong University, Provincial Radio and Television Station and the Korean Embassy in Vietnam organized the 1st Korean language contest – Phu Tho 2021.

The participants are Vietnamese people who live and work in Phu Tho province; students, students of Korean language training institutions in the province and the people live in neighboring areas having household registration in Phu Tho province.

The contest included 3 rounds: Preliminary, interview and final round. In the preliminary round, the Organizing Committee receive the essays submitted by candidates from 1st to 20th of August, from 700 to 1,000 words in Korean according to the topic of their choice, related to the contest theme "Vietnam - Korea cooperation and development". Candidates with high scores will participate in the interview round with listening and speaking skills will be held on September 10th. Candidates with high scores will participate in the speaking final round which will be held on October 10th.
