In that context, digital transformation is an important solution to help businesses adapt to grow. As a result, in 2022, the province still had nearly 7,200 businesses registered for operation, digital transformation helped many businesses maintain orders, create jobs for workers, and have significant contribution to the state budget.
Mr. Pham Huu Vu - Deputy General Director of TASA Ceramic Tile Joint Stock Company, Thuy Van Industrial Park shared: "In order to overcome difficulties, our Company has increased investment in machinery, equipment and technology, and accelerated digital transformation, improved product quality and designs to expand not only domestic but also export markets, while focusing on measures to ensure jobs and incomes for workers. Therefore, in 2022, our Company has continuously produced and sold more than 20 million m2 of tiles, brought about the revenue of more than VND 1,800 billion, contributed VND 52 billion to the state budget, and created jobs for more than 1,200 employees”.
Small and medium enterprises in the province have actively applied digitalization in business management. Mr. Ta Hung Sinh - Director of TaKao Vietnam Joint Stock Company in Trung Ha Industrial Park said: “In order for the business to be stable in difficult times, we determined it necessary to apply 4.0 technology. Our company has used business management application software on the digital environment, which is very convenient for business operations in the current situation. Therefore, our business has still been able to seize opportunities, and expand production and business scale.”
Many enterprises have high export value such as: Namuga Phu Tho Co., Ltd., Hanyang Digitech Vina Co., Ltd., etc. The export value of the whole province in 2022 is estimated at USD 12.5 billion, up 48% compared to 2021 (in the Top 10 provinces with high export turnover of the country).
It can be affirmed that digital transformation is an inevitable trend in the current period. The path to success and promote business growth is to constantly optimize digitalization into production and business operations. Digital transformation will help businesses make a breakthrough, shortening the distance with businesses around the world. However, the reality shows that digital transformation of enterprises in the province currently faces many difficulties. In order to adapt to the digital economy, businesses are required to do digital transformation and this process does not happen just overnight, but also comes with a small amount of investment. Thereby, creating favorable conditions for the Association to promote its role as a bridge between the government and businesses, and advise and support businesses in the process of digital transformation. The Association has connected with the Vietnam Institute of Digital Economy and Business Management Science, assigned Kim Nam Phu Tho Digital Transformation Center as the focal point to coordinate in implementing the program to support in-depth digital transformation to member businesses”.
