Awarding traditional sport competition at the Hung King Temple Festival in 2024
The provincial Department of Culture, sporting and Tourism conducted the awarding traditional sport competition such as crossbow shooting, shuttlecock tossing, Chinese chess and stick pushing on April 18th (lunar March 10th) at the sporting activities area in Hung King Temple Historical Relic Site.
The organizing committee awarded first, second, and third place to competitors in shuttlecock tossing mixed doubles.
This year’s competition attracted 12 delegations and 244 participants. The organizational work is meticulously planned and executed with utmost care and safety. Athletes adhere to the Organizing Committee’s rules, regulations, and competition guidelines. After 5 days of exhilarating competition, the participants shown their togetherness and determination to attain top results.
The Organizing Committee presented medals and diplomas to participants in the stick pushing for men weighing up to 52kg.
The competition results also correctly and objectively represented the process of training, physical training, and sports activities in the province’s areas. At the end of the tournament, the Organizing Committee awarded First, Second, Third, and Certificates to athletes who excelled in the content, including six sets of Crossbow Shooting, five sets of shuttlecock tossing, two sets of Chinese Chess and fifteen sets of stick pushing.
