Thanh Son crowned Champion of Phu Tho Province Men’s Football Tournament - Hung Vuong Cup

On the afternoon of April 8, at Viet Tri Stadium, the final match of the Phu Tho Provincial Men’s Football Tournament - Hung Vuong Cup 2024 took place between the Thanh Son District Team and the Provincial Police Team.

The final match between Thanh Son District Team and the Provincial Police Team took place excitingly right after the opening whistle. Under the enthusiastic support of nearly 3,700 fans, the players gave the audience a satisfying match with 4 goals divided equally between both teams. In the penalty shootout, Thanh Son district was the braver team and won the final 5-4, winning the championship for the first time.

Thus, after 10 days of exciting competition from March 30 to April 8, 210 athletes from 15 teams including 13 districts, cities, towns, 2 Provincial Police units, and Hung Vuong University, presented 28 exciting matches with high professional quality. In the end, the Organizing Committee awarded the First Prize and the Championship Cup to Thanh Son District Football Team; Second prize for the Provincial Police; Third prize for Lam Thao district and Tan Son district; Phu Tho town won the Style award. In the individual award categories, players Cu Minh Trung - Hung Vuong University and Nguyen Duc Khanh - Provincial Police won the title of Player with the most goals; Player Pham Ba Quyet - Provincial Police won the title of Best Goalkeeper; The title of Best Player belongs to Tran Van Cong - Thanh Son district.
