2024 Workshop on Developing the Digital Economy and Digital Society
In response to the National Digital Transformation Day, on October 10, the Department of Information and Communications organized the 2024 Workshop on Developing the Digital Economy and Digital Society in Phu Tho Province.
In 2023, Phu Tho made significant strides in digital government development, specifically: the Provincial Competitiveness Index ranked 10th, the Administrative Reform Index ranked 9th, the Public Administrative Service Satisfaction Index ranked 10th, the Provincial Governance and Public Administration Efficiency Index ranked 24th, and the Local Innovation Index ranked 20th. |
The implementation of the project “Developing the Application of Population Data, Digital Identification, and Authentication for National Digital Transformation in the 2022-2025 period, with a vision to 2030” (Project 06) has yielded positive results. Over 1.3 million citizen identity cards and 979 thousand electronic identification accounts have been issued across the province. The completion of civil registry data entry into the National Population Database, with 1,183,176 records, has contributed to enhancing the utility of Project 06 and facilitating administrative procedures via online public services.
At the workshop, based on the analysis of real conditions, Mr. Tran Minh Tuan, Director of the Department of Digital Economy and Digital Society, shared strategies to promote the digital economy and digital society in Phu Tho and affirmed continued support, attention and companion to help Phu Tho achieve digital transformation in various fields, contributing to the development of the province’s economy and society in the near future.
On this occasion, businesses specializing in digital platforms and technologies showcased, introduced and promoted digital transformation products, platforms, and solutions. They also discussed proposals for developing the digital economy and digital society while answering related questions. This created an opportunity for businesses in Phu Tho to exchange, share, and experience real-world digital solutions.
