According to the Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, the Hung Kings’ Commemoration Day and the 2025 Fatherland Culture and Tourism Week will take place from March 29 to April 7 (corresponding to the 1st–10th day of the 3rd lunar month, Year of the Snake) in Viet Tri City, the Hung Kings’ Temple Historical Site, and various localities. The event will be held at the provincial level with a series of cultural, sports, and tourism activities.
To stimulate tourism demand, the provincial tourism sector has collaborated with travel agencies and tour operators to introduce various promotional programs aimed at attracting visitors to Phu Tho in 2025. At the same time, cultural, sports, and tourism events will be integrated into the Fatherland Culture and Tourism Week, featuring unique performances that enhance the festival’s appeal, promote the province’s tourism potential, and highlight its rich cultural heritage.
Visitors to Hung Kings’ Temple, Long Coc Tea Hills, Xuan Son National Park, and Hung Lo Community Tourism Village can enjoy significant discounts of 20-50% on services (meals, accommodation) when booking tours directly with participating businesses, such as Long Coc Homestay, Saigon - Phu Tho Hotel, and Muong Thanh Phu Tho Hotel. Additionally, guests will receive free vouchers for unique local experiences, including Xoan singing, drumming performances, tea picking, rice noodle making at Hung Lo, Banh Chung wrapping, and Banh Day pounding.
Throughout Hung Kings' Commemoration Day 2025 and until the end of the year, the Phu Tho Tourism Promotion and Information Center will collaborate with travel agencies within and outside the province to develop various tour programs featuring promotional discounts and free gifts for visitors exploring Phu Tho’s attractions and heritage sites. These include: a one-day tour: Hung Kings’ Temple – Hung Lo Communal House – Hung Lo Ancient Village; a two-day, one-night tour: Hung Kings’ Temple – Hung Lo Ancient Communal House – Tam Giang Temple – Long Coc – Wyndham Lynn Times Thanh Thuy Hot Mineral Complex; a three-day, two-night tour: Hung Kings’ Temple – Xoan Singing – Long Coc Tea Hills – Xuan Son National Park; and a five-day interprovincial tour: Exploring the Land of Ancestors – Hanoi – Phu Tho – Yen Bai – Lao Cai.
