During the resistance years, every time the national flag was raised, it not only affirmed national sovereignty but also encouraged the fighting spirit of the soldiers. Now, when living in peacetime, every time the red flag with a yellow star is raised on holidays, Tet, and important anniversaries of the country, it is an opportunity for everyone in Vietnam to remember the great contributions and sacrifices of the previous generations, to foster patriotism and national pride, and to remind each other to always unite and strive for the everlasting development of the country.
