On January 22, Mr. Bui Van Quang, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, extended New Year wishes to the officers and soldiers of the Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting, and Rescue Police Department and the Internal Political Security Department of the Provincial Police.

The Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting and Rescue Police Department is an independent unit under the Provincial Police. In 2024, under the direct attention and direction of the Provincial People’s Committee, the Party Committee, and the Board of Directors of the Provincial Police, the unit collectively united, overcame all difficulties, and successfully carried out assigned tasks and targets, contributing to ensuring security and order in the area. It was honored to receive the Excellent Emulation Flag from the Minister of Public Security.

During his visit and while extending New Year wishes to the officers and soldiers of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Force, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Bui Van Quang acknowledged and commended their sense of responsibility and dedication to serving the people. In the past year, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Force advised the province on effective fire and explosion prevention measures, successfully preventing major fires and avoiding serious damage to people and property. In 2024, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Force actively participated in rescue operations to prevent and mitigate the consequences of storm No. 3 and drowning incidents in the province. The force was not only awarded the Excellent Emulation Flag by the Ministry of Public Security but also received numerous Certificates of Merit from the province and the Central Government.

As the province prepares to welcome the Lunar New Year of At Ty 2025, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Bui Van Quang expressed his hope that the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Force will continue to remain united, effectively managing, supervising, and creating favorable conditions for businesses, organizations, and individuals to implement fire prevention and safety measures. He also urged the force to strengthen public awareness efforts, conduct inspections of key facilities at high risk of fire and explosions, and strictly handle violations to contribute to ensuring public security and order during the Lunar New Year celebrations.

During his visit to the Internal Political Security Department, Chairman Bui Van Quang and the delegation extended New Year wishes and listened to reports from department leaders on the results of their tasks in 2024, especially during the peak period of crime suppression efforts to ensure security for the Lunar New Year in 2025.

In 2024, the Internal Political Security Department advised the Provincial Police Department’s Board of Directors to direct departments and local police to strengthen internal security measures, handle complaints and denunciations related to internal affairs, and review over 1,000 cases at the request of the Provincial Party Committee’s Organizing Committee and local authorities. Ensuring absolute security and order for over 50 delegations of Party and State leaders and international guests visiting and working in the province. Coordinating with functional units to verify, clarify, and sanction 10 cases with a fine of nearly VND150 million in the fields of internal political security. Carrying out propaganda work well, fighting against the plots of hostile forces... During the peak period of attacking and suppressing crimes to protect the Lunar New Year 2025, the department proactively scanned cyberspace, discovered, and consolidated records of administrative sanctions for 4 cases with a fine of VND30 million.

Chairman Bui Van Quang praised the department’s achievements and emphasized that 2025, being the year of Party Congresses at all levels, will require even greater efforts from the department in streamlining the organization of the political system.
