Completion of the Competition Program at the 2024 Phu Tho Secondary School Swimming and Athletics Championship

On August 18, at the Provincial Sports Complex, the final events of the Swimming and Athletics competitions took place, along with the award ceremony for high-achieving athletes as part of the 2024 Phu Tho Secondary School Swimming and Athletics Championship.

The organizers presented awards to athletes with outstanding performances in the 100m female sprint for ages 16-17 in athletics.

After three days of enthusiastic competition from August 16-18, 408 athletes from 13 districts, towns, cities, and 24 high schools in the province participated in thrilling races in both swimming and athletics. At the end of the 28 athletics events and 31 swimming events across three age groups—primary, secondary, and high school—the organizers awarded 59 first, second, and third place prizes in both sports.

Based on the athletes' performances, the Viet Tri City Department of Education and Training won the first place overall in the Department of Education and Training group with 440 points. The second place went to the Lam Thao District Department of Education and Training with 410 points, and the Tam Nong District Department of Education and Training came in third with 380 points.

In the high school group, Tam Nong High School secured first place with 200 points. Hung Vuong Specialized High School was second, and Viet Tri High School was third with 97 and 82 points, respectively.
