baophutho.vnThe need for digital transformation has become urgent for businesses to innovate their models and adapt to the new context.
Businesses in the province have shown innovation and creativity by applying digital transformation to diverse production and business fields. One of the areas where digital transformation has a profound impact is production management. Some enterprises in the province have applied smart production management systems to optimize processes and minimize waste. Technology that monitors and analyzes data from production processes helps them easily identify and resolve arising problems, ensuring product quality.
Located in a commune quite far from the center of Thanh Son District, Van Vo Mieu Tea Company Limited is very dynamic in applying modern information technology equipment to production. Starting operations since 2004 with main products being black tea and green tea, not only improving the production line, the Company also takes the lead in using management software and installing surveillance camera systems at all production workshops, saving labor efforts, reducing costs, ensuring the quality of line operations.
Mr. Ha Van Thuong - Manager of the Company said: Software that supports input and output management also contributes to helping the Company save a lot of costs and bring high efficiency. The Company’s 2022 output will reach nearly 1,000 tons of tea, and is a long-term partner of domestic and foreign companies.
Digital transformation also affects the relationship between businesses and customers. The development of e-commerce platforms has helped expand market scope, creating opportunities to reach customers internationally. An optimized online shopping experience has created a friendly and convenient environment for customers, helping them easily search and buy the products they desire.
Typically, instead of direct sales fairs with such restrictions as limited participants and only a small range of customers, in last July, the program “OCOP Fair - Returning to the Land of the Ancestors” that was organized by the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Phu Tho Province in cooperation with TikTok Vietnam and the Agritrade Agricultural Trade Promotion Center, Kolin MCN has brought positive results beyond expectation. At this online market, the content creators on the social networking platform TikTok gathered to Livestream to introduce, promote and open for sale over 40 agricultural products in the One Commune One Product Program (OCOP) of the province such as: Truong Foods sour meat, Hoai Trung 5-star Dinh OCOP tea, Hung Lo rice vermicelli, Hoa Lua soy sauce, Lien Gia Trang pickled cassava... at preferential prices to stimulate the consumer demand. After only 3 hours and 30 minutes of Livestream, the program “OCOP Fair - Returning to the Land of the Ancestors” has attracted nearly 20 million views; thereby got more than 3,000 purchase orders.
Although businesses have been interested in digital transformation, in reality the digital transformation process in businesses has not received adequate investment, with no long-term and sustainable strategy or plan. Faced with that reality, the province has developed a synchronous implementation plan. It focuses on support for the following industries and fields: Production, business, and services, and prioritizes a number of businesses that well fulfill their tax obligations to the State. At the same time, strengthen propaganda on digital transformation; Encourage businesses to proactively implement digital transformation, actively participate in activities to share experiences and support digital transformation in the business community, especially businesses with strengths in technology.
