The exhibition is a significant cultural event within the series of activities marking the Hung Kings’ Commemoration and the Ancestral Land Cultural-Tourism Week 2025. The Hung Vuong Museum and the Museum-Library of Vinh Phuc have carefully selected over 300 unique artifacts representing the early days of Vietnam’s national history, showcased under the theme "The Hung King Culture in the Flow of Red River Civilization." The exhibition is divided into two sections: cultural heritage from the Hung Kings' era in Phu Tho province and the archaeological remains from the pre-Hung Kings period in Vinh Phuc province.
Artifacts on display include images and collections from the Phung Nguyen, Go Mun, and Dong Son cultures discovered in Phu Tho; relics and visual materials on the Hung Kings worship tradition and Xoan singing in Phu Tho; as well as collections from the Phung Nguyen, Dong Dau, Go Mun, and Dong Son cultural periods discovered in Vinh Phuc. Additionally, visitors can watch documentary films on the heritage of Hung Kings worship, Xoan singing, and other cultural highlights from both provinces.
The artifacts showcased at the exhibition are made from various materials such as stone, pottery, bone, horn, and bronze, reflecting the advanced craftsmanship of early Vietnamese civilizations. The collection includes weapons, production tools, and jewelry, offering deep insights into the lives of ancient communities.
Delegates and students were introduced to the Nha Chuong Collection- recognized as a National Treasure - on display at the Hung Vuong Museum.
They also explored artifacts from the Phung Nguyen, Dong Dau, Go Mun, and Dong Son cultural periods, discovered in Vinh Phuc province.
The thematic exhibition is open to visitors daily, including weekends, until April 20, 2025.
On this occasion, the Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism of Phu Tho also organized a pilot screening of the documentary The Hung King Era, produced in full HD with 3D effects, offering visitors an immersive experience into the history of the Hung Kings.
