On the evening of April 15, at Hung Vuong Square, Mr. Nguyen Huy Ngoc — Provincial Party Committee Member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, and Head of the Organizing Committee for the 2026 Hung Kings' Commemoration — attended and directed the dress rehearsal for the Opening Arts Program of the Hung Temple Festival and Ancestral Land Culture and Tourism Week.
Vice Chairman Nguyen Huy Ngoc provides directing comments during the dress rehearsal.
Also in attendance were Mr. Duong Hoang Huong — Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Director of the Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism; leaders of relevant departments and agencies; and members of the Arts Performance Appraisal Council.
The arts program, themed “Sacred Origins - Ancestral Land of the Hung Kings,” is an elaborate production harmoniously blending traditional and modern elements. The performance vividly recreates the historical and cultural values of the Hung Kings era, honoring the tradition of “When drinking water, remember its source,” while showcasing a dynamic and integrating Phu Tho province.
During the rehearsal, all performances were executed in full, ensuring a seamless script with artistic highlights. The program features nearly 500 artisans, artists, performers, and students. The sound, lighting, stage, and projection systems were synchronized to enhance the overall quality of the show.

The dress rehearsal attracted a large crowd of local residents.
After viewing the entire program, Vice Chairman Nguyen Huy Ngoc highly commended the sense of responsibility shown by the organizing unit and the performers. He requested the Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, along with relevant agencies, to continue refining every detail—particularly regarding technical aspects, timing, and the transitions between segments. This is to ensure that the official program is solemn, safe, impressive, and worthy of this special national cultural event.
Furthermore, he emphasized paying close attention to organizational logistics, reception, and preparing contingency plans for potential weather changes and security measures within the event area.
The dress rehearsal serves as a crucial preparation step to ensure the success of the Opening Ceremony, scheduled for the evening of April 17, 2026 (the 1st day of the 3rd lunar month), leaving a lasting impression on residents and tourists alike.
