The campaign “Vietnamese People Prioritize Using Vietnamese Goods” is a major initiative of the Party and the State. With a range of synchronized solutions, the campaign has garnered active participation from many organizations, units, businesses, and individuals. This has resulted in high-quality products that are competitive in the market, awakening the potential and advantages of various localities, encouraging people to use Vietnamese goods, and opening up new prospects for socio-economic development.
As one of the businesses producing and processing tea in support of the campaign for many years, Ms. Le Thi Hong Phuong, Director of UT Tea Investment and Development Co., Ltd. (Region 1, Van Linh Commune, Thanh Ba District), shared: "To change the mindset of Vietnamese consumers, the most effective way for businesses is to provide high-quality products at competitive prices. To achieve this, businesses must continuously innovate and create safe, quality products that build consumer trust through excellent service."
Consequently, in recent years, UT Tea Investment and Development Co., Ltd. has continuously invested in expanding production and improving product quality, establishing a strong market reputation. The company has developed well-known tea products, including purple bud tea bags, 75g purple bud tea, premium purple bud tea, and specialty green tea, with a total output of over 1,500 tons of finished tea per year. To ensure quality standards, the company implements a tea production model based on a value chain, controlling every step from cultivation and care to harvesting, processing, and distribution, with traceability.
Mr. Dang The Kien, Head of the Trade Management Department at the Department of Industry and Trade, noted that as one of the effective sectors implementing the campaign, the department annually develops plans to organize and participate in fairs both within and outside the province to promote Vietnamese goods. It also enhances trade promotion efforts, supports businesses and production facilities in the province to connect OCOP (One Commune One Product) items and agricultural products with supermarkets and supply chains, expanding market access and promoting production linked in value chains.
In particular, to help residents more easily access quality Vietnamese products and provincial specialties, the Department of Industry and Trade has established sales points called “Proud of Vietnamese Goods - Essence of Vietnamese Goods” in various localities.
Through the activities of introducing and promoting industrial and handicraft products, representative agricultural products, OCOP-certified products, and those with significant consumption potential, the province’s export strengths have gained widespread recognition among numerous businesses and consumers both domestically and internationally. Notable products include paper, fertilizers, chemicals, textiles, tea products, wood panels, Hung Lo rice noodles, Thanh Son fermented pork, Doan Hung grapefruit, and handicrafts.
