On January 25, a group of international visitors from France and Switzerland visited Hung Lo Ancient Village on a river tour from Ha Long City (Quang Ninh) to Viet Tri City.
These days, in the warm spring weather, many domestic and international tourist groups have come to Hung Lo Ancient Village in Viet Tri City—a popular community tourism destination in the Ancestral Land.
Hung Lo Ancient Village in Viet Tri City is a well-known site with a long history of preserving the architectural complex from the Hung King period. Hung Lo Communal House is highly valued for its sculptural artistry and houses a relatively complete set of worship objects, including incense burners, lamps, and other items made of ceramic and bronze, intricately carved with sophisticated designs.
A group of 27 visitors from France and Switzerland visited and explored the unique traditional cultural heritage of Phu Tho. At Hung Lo Communal House, the guests listened to artists, actors, and actresses from the Xoan guild perform traditional Xoan singing.
With the enthusiasm and friendliness of the artists, the guests did not hesitate to interact with the Xoan performers; many of them eagerly joined in the dancing, creating a lively and intimate atmosphere.
Enjoying Xoan singing has become an essential experience for every tourist group visiting the Land of the Ancestors.
The guests shared that during their journey to famous tourist destinations in Vietnam, they were deeply impressed by the art of Xoan singing and admired how this place continues to preserve this unique cultural form.
Xoan singing is increasingly gaining appreciation and admiration from tourists, and every month, international groups visit to enjoy this representative intangible cultural heritage of humanity.
Visiting Hung Lo on the occasion of Tet, visitors can also experience the traditional craft of making Chung cakes, Giay cakes, and making rice noodles at Hung Lo.
International guests are very excited to try their hand at wrapping traditional Vietnamese Tet Chung cakes.
Thanks to effective efforts in preserving and promoting cultural heritage, Hung Lo Commune in Viet Tri City welcomes thousands of domestic and international visitors each year to explore its unique community tourism offerings.
