On the evening of April 8, the Phu Tho Provincial Tourism Association, in collaboration with the Vietnam Tourism Association, held a meeting with an international Famtrip delegation consisting of travel enterprises surveying tourist areas, attractions, and services within Phu Tho province.
In attendance were Mr. Duong Hoang Huong — Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Director of the Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism — and Mr. Nguyen Khac Hieu — Provincial Party Committee Member and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee.
Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman Nguyen Khac Hieu emphasized that Phu Tho, as the ancestral land of the nation, possesses a unique system of cultural and historical heritage alongside diverse natural landscapes. These assets provide a strong foundation for developing cultural, spiritual, ecological, and wellness tourism.
With its strategic position as a gateway connecting the Northern Midland and Mountainous region with Hanoi, supported by a convenient transportation network, Phu Tho is well-positioned to develop inter-regional and international tourism. The province has identified tourism as a key economic sector, aiming to become a center for cultural and festival tourism and a premier destination for heritage, spiritual, and ecological tourism in Northern Vietnam.
The Vice Chairman affirmed: "Phu Tho is committed to accompanying enterprises in building and developing tourism products tailored to each market. We will intensify promotion, strengthen international tour linkages, and improve the investment and business environment to facilitate effective cooperation and market exploitation for travel companies."

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Khac Hieu delivers a welcoming speech to international travel enterprises.
The international Famtrip delegation surveying the spiritual and wellness tourism routes in Phu Tho consists of 88 members from 8 countries and territories across Asia. During this trip, the delegation surveyed several prominent locations, including Hung Temple, Hung Lo Temple, Tay Thien Scenic Site, Tam Dao, Flamingo Dai Lai, Thanh Thuy Hot Springs, and various signature local tourism products.
This meeting served as an opportunity for provincial travel enterprises to connect with international counterparts to design new tours and routes, bringing more foreign visitors to Phu Tho. The ultimate goal is to establish Phu Tho as a distinctive, friendly, and attractive destination on regional and international tourism maps.
