Phu Tho Earns 2,000 Billion VND During Hung Kings' Commemoration Festival
A representative from the Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism recently announced that during the Hung Kings' Commemoration Festival and the 2025 Year of the Snake Culture and Tourism Week, Phu Tho Province welcomed over 5.5 million visitors and earned more than 2,000 billion VND.
This year, the Hung Kings“Commemoration Festival and the Culture and Tourism Week took place under favorable weather conditions and coincided with the weekend holiday, which led to a higher number of visitors participating in cultural and sports activities, visiting tourist sites, and offering incense at the Hung Kings” Temple compared to previous years. Notably, the localities with the highest visitor numbers were Viet Tri City and the Thanh Thuy and Tan Son districts. Especially, during the peak days from April 5th to 7th (8th - 10th of the 3rd lunar month), there was a sharp increase in the number of visitors to the Hung Kings Historical Site.
Additionally, Phu Tho Province proactively implemented early programs to enhance promotion and tourism incentives. The province also organized events ahead of schedule, with meticulously planned artistic programs that created a widespread effect, attracting tourists to the Land of the Hung Kings during this special time.
