Phu Tho has 7 students participating in the Olympic team selection exam
Immediately after the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) announced the results of the National Excellent Student Exam, based on the exam results, the Department of Quality Management (Ministry of Education and Training) summoned candidates to attend the Exam. Exam to select the 2024 Olympic team in 5 subjects: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Informatics.

In this list, Phu Tho is honored to have 7 students, specifically: Chemistry has three students; Physics has two students; Biology has a student and especially in Informatics, student Nguyen Duc Thang, a 12th grade Math major, is specially qualified to enter the second round of selecting the Olympic team because he won the Silver Medal at the 2023 International Informatics Olympiad in Hungary.

To participate in the Olympic team selection exam, candidates must score 18.0 points or more in Mathematics, 26.50 points or more in Physics, 25.875 points or more in Chemistry, and 25 points in Biology. 50 points or more and Information Technology 16.40 points or more.
The exam to select the 2024 Olympic team is expected to be held in March 2024.
