Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has recently signed Decision No. 444/QD-TTg on February 27, 2025, assigning targets for the completion of social housing in 2025 and the following years until 2030. These targets will be incorporated into local socio-economic development plans. Accordingly, Phu Tho Province is required to complete 21,865 social housing units during the 2025-2030 period, with 1,390 units expected to be completed in 2025 alone.

To achieve this goal, the Phu Tho Provincial People’s Committee has implemented various measures to simplify administrative procedures, accelerate site clearance, and attract continued investment from businesses. Relevant departments and agencies within the province have also worked together to resolve obstacles in social housing investment projects, facilitating the timely execution of approved projects. To date, Phu Tho Province has completed and put into use five projects, providing 1,807 housing units with a total floor area exceeding 168,000 square meters.
