Phu Tho to host the 2025 AFC U17 Championship Qualifiers
According to information from the provincial Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, the Group I Qualifiers—2025 AFC U17 Championship—will be held at Viet Tri Stadium, Phu Tho Province, from October 23 to 27.
Viet Tri Stadium will host the Group I qualifiers for the 2025 AFC U17 Championship.
The 2025 AFC U17 Championship Qualifiers will take place from October 19 to 27, with the participation of 43 teams, divided into 10 groups, held in different countries. In which the Vietnam U17 Team is in Group I as the host along with U17 Yemen, U17 Kyrgyzstan, and U17 Myanmar. This is not a very difficult group, but it is not easy for coach Tran Minh Chien and his team when there is no team too weak for U17 Vietnam to consider winning big and increasing the goal difference.
In the near future, the fans promise to create a vibrant atmosphere to cheer for U17 Vietnam at Viet Tri Stadium.
All matches in Group I will take place at Viet Tri Stadium. In which, coach Tran Minh Chien and his team will have their opening match against U17 Kyrgyzstan at 7:00 p.m. on October 23; meet U17 Myanmar at 7:00 p.m. on October 25; and meet U17 Yemen in the final match also taking place at 7:00 p.m. on October 27. According to the tournament regulations, the 10 teams ranked first in 10 groups along with the 5 teams ranked second with the best results will join the host country, Saudi Arabia, in the 2025 AFC U17 Championship Finals.
