Phu Tho welcomes about 128,000 visitors during April 30- May Day holiday
According to the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the April 30- May Day holiday coincide with weekends, the holiday period lasts 5 days, so the demand for entertainment and relaxation tourism increases. Phu Tho welcomed an estimated 128,000 visitors to tourist areas and destinations in the province such as: Thanh Thuy hot mineral water tourist area, Xuan Son National Park, Long Coc tea hill, Viet Tri city, Hung King Temple, Hung Lo Communal House, Great Au Co Temple, etc.
Long Coc tea hill, Tan Son district was bustling with visitors during the holidays.
Staying guests were estimated at 24,300 visitors, an increase of nearly 30% compared to 2023. Average room occupancy is estimated at 59%. In Thanh Thuy and Tan Son districts, on peak days the capacity of some accommodation establishments is estimated to be over 90%. Total revenue from tourism services in the province is estimated at over VND138 billion.
The province’s tourism service and tourist accommodation business activities are guaranteed to be safe, people’s demand for travel, relaxation and use of services has increased, and tourism service technical facilities have increased been carefully upgraded. This is a positive signal that promises many developments in Phu Tho tourism.
