According to information from the Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, during the Lunar New Year 2025, tourism sites and destinations in Phu Tho province welcomed approximately 300,000 visitors, including both tourists and local residents.

Among them, the number of overnight visitors is estimated at 17,200; the average room occupancy rate of tourism accommodation facilities is about 46%; and the tourism service revenue is estimated at around 138 billion VND, an increase of 14% compared to the same period last year.
This year, the extended 9-day Lunar New Year holiday allowed tourists more options for spring travel, while also giving localities, cultural and tourism sites, and travel businesses time to prepare plans, improve infrastructure, workforce, and services, in order to distribute the number of visitors and reduce pressure on transportation and tour guides during peak days.
