Phu Tho Wins 6 Medals at the National Youth Greco-Roman and Freestyle Wrestling Championship
After nearly 10 days of intense competition from August 5-15 in Ca Mau Province, 250 athletes from 20 provinces, cities, and organizations across the country showcased high-level matches at the 2024 National Youth Greco-Roman and Freestyle Wrestling Championship. The Phu Tho wrestling team, comprising 6 athletes, competed in various categories including: freestyle wrestling for both men and women in weight classes of 57kg, 61kg, 62kg, 65kg, 72kg, and 76kg.
At the end of the tournament, Phu Tho’s wrestlers earned a total of 6 medals. This includes 4 silver medals won by: Duy Trong Thang (61kg male), Pham Huong Tra (68kg female), Le Ngoc Bich (72kg female), Ha Thi Thanh Phuong (76kg female). Additionally, they secured 2 bronze medals by: Dinh Thi Ngoc Anh (57kg female), and Nguyen Ha Ngoc Anh (62kg female).
