Phu Tho province’s delegation works with Vietnamese Embassy in Japan

On September 14, the working delegation of Phu Tho province led by Mr. Bui Minh Chau - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council, Head of the Provincial Delegation to the National Assembly had a working session with the Vietnamese Embassy in Japan. This is an investment promotion program of Phu Tho Province in response to a series of activities commemorating the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Japan (1973-2023).

The Provincial Party Secretary Bui Minh Chau presented the statue of the National Father Lac Long Quan to Mr. Pham Quang Hieu, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Vietnamese Ambassador to Japan.

At the meeting, the Provincial Party Secretary Bui Minh Chau proposed that the Vietnamese Embassy in Japan continue to have many effective activities in connecting, cooperating, and attracting Japanese investment to Phu Tho. Specifically, he requested the Embassy to pay attention and support strengthening and diversifying international cooperation relationships with Japanese localities and partners; regularly and promptly guide and inform the province in Japan - Vietnam foreign affairs activities; introduce favorable conditions, potentials, strengths and preferential policies of the province to attract investment in the province’s industrial parks as well as introduce and invite Japanese businesses to expand investment activities in the province; pay attention and support the province to continue to maintain and strengthen friendly cooperative relations with Nara province; select potential localities in Japan (Mie and Ibaraki provinces...) to establish friendly cooperative relations; strengthen cultural exchange activities, introduce and promote the values of two intangible cultural heritages recognized by UNESCO as “Hung King Worshiping Belief” and “Phu Tho Xoan Singing”, contributing to promoting the comprehensive international integration process of the province; strengthen cooperation in education and training, student exchanges, labor export, and job introduction...

The Provincial Party Secretary Bui Minh Chau affirmed that Phu Tho province always assists and supports the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in general and the Vietnamese Embassy in Japan in particular in foreign affairs, international cooperation, and continues to develop the Vietnam - Japan cooperative relationship to new heights.
