Provincial General Hospital inks a comprehensive medical cooperation agreement with Bach Mai Hospital to upgrade to special status by 2025

A signing ceremony was held at Bach Mai Hospital (Hanoi) on May 29, ato establish comprehensive medical support collaboration with the Provincial General Hospital in order to meet the criteria for a special-class hospital by 2025.

Representatives from both institutions inked a comprehensive medical support cooperation agreement.

The two units decided to jointly sign a comprehensive collaboration agreement that included the following: training and technical transfer, personnel rotation, telemedicine application (Telehealth), assistance and consultation for specialties development and specialized medical services are being developed, as well as collaboration in scientific research, social work, and delegation exchanges.

Support training to increase professional and technical capability; basic and advanced management... for medical personnel, hospital administration, medical knowledge, and technical practice. Depending on the present scenario and Phu Tho Provincial General Hospital’s medical examination and treatment needs, Bach Mai Hospital will deploy highly trained physicians and nurses to rotate and give technical and professional assistance to the unit.

The agreed program was implemented with the goal of developing the Provincial General Hospital in accordance with Bach Mai Hospital’s specialized general model. With the signing of a comprehensive collaboration agreement, the Provincial General Hospital will get extensive managerial and professional process assistance on par with Bach Mai Hospital. In the near future, the Hospital will complete the essential criteria to apply to the relevant authorities for approval to upgrade the Provincial General Hospital to a special level by 2025.

Currently, the Provincial General Hospital serves as a satellite hospital for six central hospitals and collaborates with other specialist institutions in Hanoi. The Ministry of Health has entrusted the Provincial General Hospital with the job of conducting medical examinations and treatments in surrounding provinces such as Ha Giang, Tuyen Quang, Lao Cai, and Yen Bai... in order to alleviate overload on the central line.
