On July 26, commemorating the 77th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947–July 27, 2024), the Provincial Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee, and Provincial Fatherland Front Committee held an incense offering ceremony to commemorate heroic martyrs at the Provincial Heroic Martyrs Monument (Ca Chuoi Hill, Chu Hoa Commune, Viet Tri City).

Promoting the tradition and morality of “When drinking water, remember its source,” in recent years, the Party Committee, government, armed forces, and people of all ethnic groups in the province have done a good job of showing gratitude, caring for, and taking care of the material and spiritual lives of people with revolutionary contributions and policy families in the province with many practical and meaningful actions. The movements have received the response and participation of the whole society, becoming a beautiful feature in cultural life, contributing significantly to strengthening the great solidarity bloc, enhancing patriotism and social responsibility, arousing and fostering humanitarian values, etc.

At the ceremony, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Bui Minh Chau respectfully offered wreaths and incense to commemorate the Heroes and Martyrs; delegates respectfully offered incense and flowers at the Monument to the Heroes and Martyrs, expressing the deep gratitude of the Party Committee, government, and people of Phu Tho province for the sacrifices of the Heroes and Martyrs.

Remembering the heroic martyrs, the Party Committee, government, and people of Phu Tho province vow to continue to do better in the military rear area, properly, fully, and promptly implement preferential policies and regimes for those who have contributed to the revolution, promote the movement of “repaying gratitude,” take care of wounded soldiers, martyrs' families, and Vietnamese heroic mothers, and contribute to alleviating the pain of war. At the same time, promote the tradition of solidarity and creativity and build Phu Tho province to develop more and more.
