Delegates attending the conference.
Nguyen Hang was a distinguished literary figure and an outstanding son of the Nguyen Ma Noi family in his native land of Xuan Lung. He was a prominent Confucian scholar of the 15th–16th centuries, renowned for his profound erudition, noble character, and recluse lifestyle imbued with high moral integrity.
Following his passing, the Restored Le Dynasty posthumously conferred upon him the title “Thao Mao Dat Si” (Secluded Scholar of the Thatched Cottage) and granted land for worship in his homeland. Descendants of the family alongside local residents erected a temple in his honor, named “Dat Si Tu” (Secluded Scholar Temple). The Nguyen Hang Worship Temple is currently classified as a Provincial-Level Historical and Cultural Relic.
