Vietnam U23 Team has a practice session to get acquainted with Viet Tri Stadium
At 7pm on August 31, the Vietnam U23 team under the guidance of coach Philippe Troussier entered the first training session to get acquainted with Viet Tri Stadium to prepare for the Qualifying Group C - AFC U23 Championship 2024.
This is also the time frame for the official matches at the tournament, so it will help the team soon adapt to the weather and climate conditions in Viet Tri City.
In tonight’s training session, after the warm-up, the French Coach Philippe Troussier divided the whole team into three groups to deploy exercises on rebound, speed and coordination in a narrow range. Of the 31 players present on the field, only Ho Van Cuong and Dinh Xuan Tien had to practice separately under the guidance of assistants, the remaining 29 players showed their good physical and psychological state. In general, the players successfully completed the lesson plan set forth by the Coaching Board with a high spirit of determination.
After the training session, Coach Philippe Troussier and players will return to the field of the Vietnam Football Federation to continue practicing and perfecting the squad before entering the opening match against U23 Guam at 19:00 on September 6 on Viet Tri Stadium.
