Spring arrives for key projects

A new year is approaching, and each passing day is an opportunity for construction units to capitalize on fresh progress “milestones”. On the project of restoring and improving provincial road 316G in Tan Son district, linking National Highway 70 to provincial road 313D in Yen Lap district, and the inter-regional road project connecting DT321B - National Highway 70B to the Ao Gioi - Suoi Tien tourism area and Au Co Temple and the IC11 crossroads of the Noi Bai - Lao Cai highway in Ha Hoa district, the working environment becomes more intense and crowded as contractors focus on speeding up building progress, producing a flurry of competitiveness ahead of the new spring season.

Tu Lap Construction Company Limited focuses its human resources and machines on paving inter-regional traffic routes that connect DT321B - National Highway 70B to the Ao Gioi - Suoi Tien tourism area, Au Co Temple and the IC11 intersection of the Noi Bai expressway - Lao Cai in Ha Hoa district.

The district People’s Committee is now constructing inter-regional highways linking DT321B - National Highway 70B to Ao Gioi - Suoi Tien tourism area, Au Co Mau Temple, and the IC11 intersection of the Noi Bai - Lao Cai highway in Ha Hoa district. Investors appear to be “hotter” than ever. Engineer Tran Manh Truong, Project Team Leader of the District Urban Environment and Project Management Board, has been present since the beginning of implementation and is well-versed in the details of each bidding package and challenging position. At each stretch of the route, Truong closely supervise and direct the contractor to ensure that the work is completed on schedule.

The newly constructed inter-regional traffic route from National Highway 70B to the Ao Gioi-Suoi Tien tourism area is nearly complete and ready for usage.

"The aim is to finish construction of the Ao Gioi 1, Ao Gioi 2, and Vo Tranh bridges before Lunar New Year. Complete the complete 9.6-kilometer course No. 1 (from Hien Luong commune, Ha Hoa district to My Lung commune, Yen Lap district). Complete 5.95km of road basis and aim to cover 4.75km of route 2 in Vo Tranh communes (Ha Hoa district) and My Luong (Yen Lap district). Increase the speed of construction of the Vo Tranh bridge approach road and asphalt carpet for the 1.3-kilometer expansion of provincial route 321B. As a result, investors and contractors must be as determined as possible while racing against the clock to meet the objectives," stated Engineer Tran Manh Truong.

Mr. Phung Canh Hung, Project Commander of Tu Lap Construction Co., Ltd., stated: "Currently, the unit has added more than 10 cars, rollers, carpet machines, and nearly 20 workers, increasing working time to speed up the progress of concrete covering the entire route." Furthermore, the department in charge of painting road markings, erecting guardrail systems, and placing traffic safety signs was bolstered with extra troops from other construction sites to focus on construction and get the project ready for use. Other activities include completing the Vo Tranh bridge approach road and the branch linking the 840-meter-long concrete road; Expanding the road surface and re-carpeting with asphalt the section passing through Yen Lap district and Tan Lap Prison (Ministry of Public Security), the unit plans to launch the peak emulation period in early Spring on the morning of the 6th day of Tet, with the goal of completing the entire project by April 2024, 1.5 years ahead of schedule.

Contractors working on the inter-regional route Tan Son - Yen Lap (part via Minh Hoa commune, Yen Lap district) concentrate human resources and construction trucks in three shifts per day to ensure project progress.

Despite the Tet atmosphere in the lower Yen Lap district, hundreds of workers and engineers are still working hard to renovate and upgrade provincial road 316G in Tan Son district (section of National Highway 32 to National Highway 70B in Yen Lap district) and the road connecting National Highway 70 to Provincial Road 313D Yen Lap district (referred to as Tan Son-Yen Lap inter-regional road).

Comrade Bui Xuan Tien, Director of the Yen Lap District Construction Investment Project Management Board, stated, "As one of the key projects of the province and Yen Lap district, the Tan Son - Yen Lap inter-regional road project has important significance in ensuring national defense and security, promoting trade, and socioeconomic development in mountainous, remote and mountainous communes of districts: Thanh Son, Tan Son, Yen Lap. The project includes a total investment of 326 billion VND, which will be used to create three roads totaling 36.4 kilometers in length in accordance with grade IV mountain road requirements. We asked contractors to concentrate as many human resources, machinery, and equipment for building as possible three months ago, taking advantage of the excellent weather. As a result, the volume on the construction site is now expected to be 80%, with 32.9/36.4km of site clearing work completed and 30.9/36.4km of roadbed construction under progress.

Present at the construction site of the construction package for line No. 1 (main route - provincial road 316G, section of national highway 70B, Yen Lap district to national highway 32, Tan Son district) with Toan Thinh Company and Hong Ha Company as contractors, we can clearly see the contractor’s determination when all groups and teams are most focused on completing the assigned work. So far, the two enterprises have built 6.8/8.9 kilometers of roadbed and plan to finish 4 kilometers of road surface by the Lunar New Year.

Along with the above works, many other works and projects in the province have been expedited, with 18/20 essential traffic routes being implemented promptly and ahead of time, including 7/20 project has essentially been completed, gradually forming a synchronous inter-regional traffic network, connecting highways and national highways such as inter-regional traffic roads connecting Ho Chi Minh Road with National Highway 70B, Highway 32C from Phu Tho province to Yen Bai province; Thanh Son - Thanh Thuy road, Au Co road, Tuyen Quang - Phu Tho highway, Vinh Phu bridge connecting Vinh Phuc province...
