Surveying tourism products for international visitors

As part of the efforts to promote and advertise Phu Tho tourism at the 2025 Lao Cai International Tourism Fair, on the morning of June 5, the Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism organized a program to welcome a FAM trip delegation surveying tourism products for international visitors in Phu Tho.

The survey delegation interacted with Xoan artisans and took souvenir photos at Hung Lo Communal House, Hung Lo Commune, Viet Tri City.

The 43-member delegation included representatives from tourism enterprises across six Southeast Asian countries. During their trip, they visited and experienced a number of attractions in Viet Tri City, such as Hung Lo Ancient Village, a Xoan singing performance at Hung Lo Communal House, and Hung Vuong Museum, and they surveyed the service quality at Sen Vang Restaurant.

At each destination, the delegation expressed their impressions of Phu Tho’s distinctive cultural identity, the quality of several tourism services, and the local transport infrastructure. They also shared constructive suggestions to help develop unique tourism offerings and enhance service quality in the region.

The trip aimed to assess tourism development potential and boost promotional efforts to introduce Phu Tho’s tourism products to international travelers in promising markets. It also served as an opportunity for local service providers and tourism businesses to connect and collaborate with foreign travel companies—fostering closer ties and contributing to expanding the reach of Phu Tho’s tourism products to the world.
