The 10th National Phu Dong Health Festival Meeting - Region I in Phu Tho

On May 9, at Hung Vuong High School for the Gifted (Viet Tri city), the Organizing Committee of the 10th National Phu Dong Health Festival - Region I held a meeting of delegation heads to approve the regulations, answer the questions, announce activities at this Health Festival and divide groups of sports competitions.

At the meeting, the Steering Committee and Organizing Committee of the National Health Festival - Region I announced the program and some regulations for delegations attending the National Health Festival - Region I; Announce some regulations on professional work.

Accordingly, the National Health Festival - Region I was organized on a large scale, with the participation of nearly 2,400 athletes, coaches, and delegation officials from 13 provinces including: Phu Tho, Bac Giang, Cao Bang, Hoa Binh, Ha Giang, Dien Bien, Lang Son, Tuyen Quang, Bac Kan, Lao Cai, Yen Bai, Lai Chau, Son La.

Athletes participate in 11 sports: Football, Volleyball, Table Tennis, Badminton, Shuttlecock, Athletics, Stick Pushing, Swimming, Basketball, Tug of War, Aerobic Gymnastics with 145 events eligible to compete according to the Rules. Phu Tho athlete delegation has 388 athletes, participating in all 11 sports.

The Opening Ceremony takes place at 8:00 a.m., May 10, at the Provincial Sports Training and Competition House; Closing ceremony at 2:00 p.m., May 17 at Hung Vuong High School for the Gifted. The official competition period starts from May 10 to May 17. The venues for the competitions are at the Provincial Sports Training and Competition House, Hung Vuong High School for the Gifted and some high schools in Viet Tri city. The travel distance between competition venues is from 100m to 2km. Exceptionally, Basketball is played at Viet Tri Technical High School, about 5km from the Provincial Gymnasium.
