The 5th Congress of Vietnam Youth Union of Lam Thao district, term 2024-2029
On July 5, the Vietnam Youth Union of Lam Thao district held its 5th congress, term 2024-2029. Attending were leaders of the Provincial Youth Union and leaders of the District Party Committee and People’s Committee of Lam Thao district.
During the 2019-2024 term, youth work always receives close, direct and comprehensive attention, leadership and direction from party committees and authorities at all levels, as well as the support and consensus of member organizations, contributing to the increasing growth and expansion of the Union. The 4th District Congress of Vietnam Youth Union Representatives, term 2019 - 2024, set out 9 basic targets. By the end of the term, 6/9 targets were exceeded, 3/9 targets were met compared to the Congress Resolution. The theme “I love my Fatherland” with practical and clear movements and programs has been implemented focusedly and effectively with appropriate and creative contents and methods.
During the term, more than 2,800 new members were enrolled, and 4,420 typical members were introduced to the Union. The entire district organized and implemented over 220 youth projects.
The Congress negotiated to appoint 25 delegates to the Lam Thao District Vietnam Youth Union Committee for the term 2024-2029; negotiated to appoint 12 official delegates to attend the 6th Congress of Vietnam Youth Union of Phu Tho Province, term 2024-2029.
