The appearance of the countryside has changed

Not stopping at meeting the new rural standard (NRS), in recent years, the Party Committee, authorities, and people of Te Le commune (Tam Nong district) have unified, made efforts, joined forces, and jointly conquered all problems, steadily improving advanced rural area criteria. Returning to Te Le on a Spring morning, walking on the smooth asphalt road and admiring the firmly built houses, we could plainly sense the “change of skin and flesh” of a region on the edge of regeneration.

Te Le, a purely agricultural commune with an economy focused primarily on agricultural products, focuses on modernizing agriculture and rural areas. Of which, promote land exchange and concentrated land acquisition, resulting in large-scale productive regions. Actively mobilize farmers to adopt new scientific and technological developments, encourage investment in intensive farming, and integrate high-yield and value plant and animal types into commodity-oriented production, etc.

Along with production and business development, the commune focuses on mobilizing resources for investment in developing electricity projects, roads, schools, and stations, making the rural face more prosperous. Economic development, people’s lives in the commune are improved in all aspects. The commune has consolidated and upgraded the rural transportation system. Up to now, 85% of roads in the commune have been hardened, creating favorable conditions for trade and travel of people; Over 90% of agricultural land is actively irrigated, and in-field canals are hardened. 100% of residential areas have spacious cultural houses with full equipment and facilities.

Te Le today seems to be wearing a new shirt, the rural appearance is increasingly improving; People’s lives are improving day by day, the average income per capita reaches 52 million VND/person/year, more than 90% of households have solidly built houses, the poverty rate has decreased to 33 households. Implementing the goal of building advanced rural areas, up to now the commune has achieved 12/19 criteria, currently 14 targets of seven criteria have not been met, the commune has set a target to strive until the end of 2024, the remaining targets are all standard.
