The Provincial Business Association meets in early spring.

The Provincial Business Association held a meeting on the occasion of New year of 2014. Mr. Phan Trong Tan - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee and Honorary Chairman of the Provincial Business Association attended the event.

Mr. Phan Trong Tan, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, and delegates handed flowers to female leaders and businesses on March 8, International Women’s Day.

The Provincial Business Association was established in 2017, with six member associations including: Phu Tho Provincial Association of Small and Medium Enterprises, Young Entrepreneurs Association, Women Business Association, Phu Tho Tourism Association, Automobile and Transport Association, and Foreign Investment Business Association, with a total of nearly 300 members. The number of enterprises in the province has increased from more than 6,000 (in 2017) to over 11,000 (in 2023); the business community has created jobs for nearly 200,000 workers, contributing more than 70% of the province’s total budget revenue; contributing to Phu Tho’s ranking as one of 15 localities with high growth rates in the country and third out of 14 Northern Midlands and Mountainous provinces in 2023.

In addition to their accomplishments, association members consistently create a spirit of mutual assistance by frequently participating in social events to assure humanitarian and philanthropic work and local social security.

The Provincial Business Association promotes the viewpoint of “Synergy - Integration - Breakthrough” in 2024, with provincial business members actively innovating activities, promoting production and business activities, strengthening cooperation and association, and promoting collective spirit to successfully implement the Resolution of the Congress of Phu Tho Provincial Business Association, term II, term 2023 - 2028.

Leaders of Phu Tho Newspapers and the Provincial Business Association signed the cooperation program for the period 2024–2028.

Speaking at the meeting, Phan Trong Tan, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee and Honorary Chairman of the Provincial Business Association, recognized and appreciated the Business Association’s efforts and strong development, as well as the contributions of community businesses and entrepreneurs to the province’s development. In the spirit of “creating development,” the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee affirmed that Phu Tho province’s Party Committees and authorities at all levels will always support the business community by creating the most favorable conditions within the framework of legal regulations for businesses and investors to promote production and business development, promote growth, and create new breakthroughs.

Representatives of the Provincial Business Association executives and delegates present at the signing demonstrate a sense of unity, collaboration, and progress.

2024 is a year of significant acceleration, laying the groundwork for fulfilling the objectives and goals outlined in the Resolution of the 19th Phu Tho Provincial Party Congress for the year 2020-2025. At the same time, it is recommended that the Provincial Business Association coordinate well with the provincial authorities, do a good job of forecasting, and promptly propose to the province solutions to remove difficulties for the business community, promote production and business; create a transparent and healthy business environment; do a good job of taking care of workers' lives, actively participating in social security work, contributing to building Phu Tho province become the top developed province in the Northern Midlands and Mountainous area.

During the meeting, the Provincial Business Association declared its decision to accept new members and signed a coordination agreement with the Provincial Business Party Committee, Phu Tho Newspaper, and Provincial Radio and Television Station.
