Joining the hectic atmosphere of the days leading up to Tet at beautiful spots surrounding Viet Tri city, such as Van Lang Park, Tet Flower Market, Flower Gardens, Cafes, Restaurants... it is not difficult to find images of elegant ao dai with grandparents, moms, and sisters touring in the spring and shooting photographs. Wearing ao dai on Tet has become a popular fad, with many individuals choosing it in the middle of contemporary life. Ms. Linh Thi Diep of Tien Cat Ward, Viet Tri City, has a specific interest and love for ao dai. Every Lunar New Year, she typically picks exquisite ao dai to bring good fortune and joy.
Ao Dai has now become an integral component of Tet dress.

Nguyen Anh Nguyet, a student at Long Chau Sa High School in Lam Thao town, Lam Thao district, stated, "In the days leading up to Tet, my friends and I got together to wear ao dai and take photos to share on personal Facebook pages. Wearing ao dai is quite lovely; I believe there are few costumes that create a busy and joyous environment during Tet like ao dai."

With the growing popularity of ao dai for Tet, numerous ao dai businesses in Viet Tri city have prepared to meet the demands of clients. Ms. Ngo Thi Thanh Loan, owner of Thien Anh ao dai shop in Tien Cat ward, Viet Tri city, stated: "Customers' demand for buying ao dai for Tet is very high; some people choose to have their ao dai tailored to ensure a perfect fit shape, while others prefer ready-made ao dai because of its convenience, eye-catching appearance, many price segments, and, most importantly, customers do not have to wait long. Understanding buyer psychology, my store has updated many new ao dai models and ready-made models in a range of colors and styles to suit customers' buying and ao dai rental demands throughout the Lunar New Year."
