Workshop on green energy conversion, sustainable development solutions for businesses

On August 23, the Department of Industry and Trade coordinated with the Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) to organize a workshop on green energy conversion and sustainable development solutions for businesses. Attending were representatives of relevant departments, branches, units, experts in the energy sector, and representatives of 60 businesses in the province.

Delegates visited the technology and equipment of the rooftop solar power system.

At the workshop, delegates were provided with information and introduced to the outstanding advantages of green energy and solar energy in environmental protection, reducing carbon emissions, reducing energy costs for businesses, disseminating current legal policies related to energy saving and efficiency, solutions for green energy conversion, energy management, greenhouse gas inventory, carbon credits, building a roadmap for emission reduction, investing in clean technology, systemic energy management methods, and introducing programs and projects to support businesses in converting to green energy. Solution providers introduced techniques, procedures, and installation sequences of rooftop solar power systems; some technologies, modules, equipment of rooftop solar power systems, and batteries to store electricity.

Within the framework of the workshop, delegates participated in a discussion on green energy conversion, exchanged, and had experts and solution providers answer questions about business opportunities in the green energy conversion process, price mechanisms in installing rooftop solar power systems, standards and regulations for solar power installation, solar power construction time, and the collection and treatment of solar batteries.

The workshop helped businesses grasp the mechanisms and policies in the green energy conversion process, including access to technological solutions for energy saving and efficiency, towards the goal of green growth and sustainable development.
