Final Dress Rehearsal for the Ceremony Celebrating the 72nd Anniversary of Uncle Ho’s Visit to Hung Temple and the Inauguration of the Monument “Uncle Ho with the National Festival”

On the morning of September 18, a final dress rehearsal for the Ceremony Celebrating the 72nd Anniversary of Uncle Ho’s Visit to Hung Temple (September 19, 1954 – September 19, 2026) and the inauguration of the Monument “Uncle Ho with the National Festival” took place at the Hung Temple Special National Historical Relic Site.

Comrades: Pham Dai Duong, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and Head of the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies; Tran Duy Dong, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, attended and directed the dress rehearsal.

Attending and directing the rehearsal were comrades: Pham Dai Duong, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and Head of the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies; Tran Duy Dong, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee; Phung Thi Kim Nga, Member of the Provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People’s Committee.

Also attending were Comrade Duong Hoang Huong, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Director of the Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism; representatives of leaders from the Political Work Department under the Ministry of Public Security; members of the Anniversary Organizing Committee; and representatives from relevant departments and units.

According to the plan, the Ceremony Celebrating the 72nd Anniversary of Uncle Ho’s Visit to Hung Temple and the inauguration of the “Uncle Ho with the National Festival” Monument will officially take place starting at 7:00 AM on September 19, 2026, at the Hung Temple Special National Historical Relic Site.

Provincial leaders requested a comprehensive review of all contents and tasks according to assigned responsibilities.

The program consists of main sections: Welcoming artistic performance; flag-raising ceremony; statement of reason and introduction of delegates; commemorative address by Phu Tho provincial leaders; directive speech by Party and State leaders; response speech by provincial leaders; and the ribbon-cutting ceremony to inaugurate the “Uncle Ho with the National Festival” Monument.

During the rehearsal, all program items were executed according to the script to test coordination among departments and participating forces; reviewing organizational work to ensure consistency and synchronization throughout the ceremonial proceedings.

Provincial Party Secretary Pham Dai Duong and Provincial People’s Committee Chairman Tran Duy Dong directly directed the dress rehearsal program.

Leaders of relevant departments, sectors, and units attended and absorbed directive feedback at the program, ensuring the ceremony takes place safely and solemnly.

Following the dress rehearsal, provincial leaders requested departments, boards, branches, localities, and participating forces to continue coordinating closely with bureaus and units under the Ministry of Public Security to comprehensively review all contents and tasks according to assigned responsibilities. Focus is placed on finalizing protocol, decoration, and logistics work; ensuring security, order, traffic safety, fire prevention and control, as well as conditions to serve delegates and citizens attending the ceremony.

Provincial leaders emphasized that agencies and units must uphold a high sense of responsibility, proactively coordinate, and thoroughly check every step and detail without subjectivism or neglect. At the same time, contingency plans must be prepared, ready to handle arising situations promptly to guarantee the program runs smoothly, safely, and solemnly.
